Kompanies

About

Kompanies shows every new UK company the day after it appears on the official register, and any other UK company when you look it up. Pages are grouped by city and by SIC sector so you can see what is starting up where.

Who runs Kompanies

Kompanies is built and run by Paras Saxena, a sole trader in England trading as Kompanies. I started it in October 2026 to make the public company register easier to read: clear deadlines, plain-English guides and free reminders for directors.

The data is the public register, reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0. We add nothing that is not already public and we do not publish officers' dates of birth or residential addresses.

Who it is for

Accountants and bookkeepers use it to spot new companies in their area and to keep track of client deadlines. Founders and directors use the free reminders so the first accounts and confirmation statement are not missed. Suppliers such as insurers, banks and web designers use the weekly export to see which businesses have just started near them. Researchers and journalists use the city and sector pages to see where new companies are forming and in which industries.

How we check the data

Every night we collect the previous day's incorporations from the official register, read each company's filing deadlines from its own record, and copy the result into the database that serves this site. Each page shows the date of the last update, so you can see how fresh the figures are. If something looks wrong, email us and we will check it against the register.

How Kompanies is funded

Kompanies is free to use. It is paid for by optional subscriptions and, on some pages, by links to services for new businesses; where we may earn a commission, the page says so. Recommendations are our own and never change company data.

Kompanies is independent and not affiliated with the registrar. Contact: hello@kompanies.co.uk.
