Terms of use
Information on this site is reproduced from the UK public register of companies under the Open Government Licence v3.0 and is provided as-is, without warranty. Always check the official register before relying on a record. You may reuse the data under the same licence with attribution. Automated bulk scraping that degrades the service is not permitted.
Who runs this service
Kompanies is operated by Paras Saxena, a sole trader based in England, trading as Kompanies. Contact: hello@kompanies.co.uk. Paid subscriptions are billed by Kompanies via Stripe; cancel at any time from your account page and no further charge is taken.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a Pro or Export subscription at any time from your account page, using the link in your welcome email. When you cancel, the subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and is not renewed, so no further charge is taken. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. If you think you have been charged in error, email hello@kompanies.co.uk and we will look into it promptly. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Claimed pages
Only a current director of a company may claim its page. Before you pay, we check the name you give against the company's current directors on the official register, and we may ask for more proof. We review everything you add before it appears and may remove content that is wrong, misleading or unlawful. The yearly plan (£49) renews each year until you cancel it in the billing portal; the 30-day plan (£4.99) does not renew. If we can't approve your first submission, we refund you in full; otherwise there is no refund for the current period. Prices are final; no VAT is added. Enquiries from your page are sent to you by email; we don't sell enquirers' details.
Fair use of exports
Each weekly export is supplied to the subscriber for one postcode area. You may use it and share it within your own organisation. The register data inside it remains available under the Open Government Licence, but please do not pass on the export files themselves as a substitute for a subscription. If you use the export to contact the businesses or directors listed, you are responsible for following UK data protection and electronic marketing law, including UK GDPR and PECR.
Reminders are a convenience
Reminder emails are sent on a best-efforts basis. If a reminder is delayed or does not arrive, the filing deadline still applies, so please keep your own record of each date and check the official register.
