Weekly export · £49 a month per postcode area
Every company incorporated in your area, every Monday
A new company needs a bank account, an accountant, insurance, a website, a phone line and a way to take card payments, and most of those choices are made in its first 90 days. If you sell any of them, the useful list is the one that tells you who started near you last week. Every Monday morning we email you a CSV of every company incorporated in your chosen postcode area during the previous seven days.
Who buys it
Accountants and bookkeepers looking for new clients, insurers and brokers, web designers and agencies, telecoms and broadband resellers, merchant services and card-payment providers, and business banking teams. What they have in common is that a company is most open to a new supplier in the weeks after it is formed, before its habits are set.
What is in the file
One row per company, ready to open in a spreadsheet. Each row has the company number and name, the date it was incorporated, its SIC codes, the registered office address and postcode, the directors' names and roles as shown on the register, when its first accounts and first confirmation statement are due, a website where we found one, and a link to the company's page on the register.

How it compares with the registrar's free data
The registrar publishes a free monthly file of every live company in the UK. It is complete and it costs nothing, so if you are happy to download and filter it yourself each month, it may be all you need. The weekly export saves that work for one area and adds two things the company file does not include.
| Registrar's free company file | Weekly export | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free | £49 a month per postcode area |
| How often | Monthly, compiled to the end of the previous month | Every Monday, covering the previous seven days |
| Coverage | Every live company in the UK, split across several large zip files | New companies in one postcode area |
| Filing deadlines | Included | Included |
| Directors' names and roles | Not in the company file | Included |
| Website | Not included | Where we found one |
Looking after your own company? The registrar's free reminder service covers you. Kompanies is for people who track many companies.
Common questions
Is it legal to contact the companies in the file?
The file contains information that is already public on the UK register of companies: company details, registered office addresses and directors' names and roles. It holds no personal email addresses or phone numbers. Some small companies use a home address as their registered office, so when you contact anyone you are responsible for following UK GDPR and PECR.
Can I get two postcode areas?
Yes. Each postcode area is its own subscription at £49 a month, so subscribe once for each area you want. Each file arrives in a separate email every Monday.
Can I see what a file looks like?
The example row on this page comes from the register this week, with the director's name hidden. The city pages for your area list the same companies, so you can judge the volume before you subscribe.
How do I cancel?
Open the account page linked in your welcome email and use Update card or cancel. There is no minimum term, and the export keeps arriving until the end of the period you have already paid for.
